January 2021 Die of the Month - Mini 3D Vignette Valentines Mailbox - Amazing Paper Grace

Remember the days in grade school when you dreamed of all the little envelopes you would collect in your pouch from Valentine's Day?  Well, we gotcha covered! Today I am introducing the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for January 2021, the Mini 3D Vignette Valentines Mailbox.

 

Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace sent me these wonderful dies to create with.

Sweet hearts and petite envelopes are a symbol of love.  The Amazing Paper Grace Mini 3D Vignette Valentines Mailbox harkens back to the days where you thought that the number of envelopes measured how loved you were.  No worries, this elegant mailbox holds a bouquet of enveloped surprises and is a clever way to hide some cute little messages.  Oh, and the front of the mailbox opens!  Becca uses the inspiration from a vintage mailbox as the basis for this elegant representation where romantic and cute go hand in hand.

Don't worry if you don't have a sweetheart this year.  After the holiday, this set can be used as a blue mailbox.  Did you notice it is a mini-sized 3D Vignette?! Built just like the grand sized vignettes that came before it, this little mini stands 4.75-inches tall and folds flat for mailing to your sweetheart!

I have design two projects today, first one is cream with light peach and the second one is cream with mint green color.

Supplies: Rhinestones, Dimensional Tape, Glass Beads, Clear Glue, Score Pal, Die Cutting Machine, Hot Glue Gun, Stamens, Nida Tanweer Magic Glitter Powder.
Paper: Cream Cardstock, Light Peach Cardstock, Golden Mirror Card, Prima Marketing Paper Havana, Mint Green Cardstock.

Other Products Used : Hot glue gun, hot glue, paper trimmer, scissors, die cutting machine, dimensional tape, glitter glue.

Instructions: Ready folding white card is 9” by 6”. Cut a panel from white card measuring 8 1/4 x 5 7/8” and set aside. Cut a piece of green paper from sheet 9B of the Countryside Cottage Paper Collection to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and adhere onto the panel using clear glue. Diecut a window from this layer using cut mat create die and adhere on to the card base using dimensional tape.

For stamping, use Archival Black ink and white cardstock. Stamp all required images and color using Zig clean brush markers and die cut with coordinating dies.

Stamp the sentiment from Today’s Quotes Stamp Set on paper collection and add white card underneath and add to top right corner. Arrange all ready elements as shown using dimensional tape and hot glue.

To add the extra sparkle, use glitter glue.
